Varta Pulse AC Batteries
Have you heard of an AC Battery? At Marshall Solar and Energy we love AC Coupled batteries. Why you ask? Well AC Coupled batteries a very quick and easy to install, this saves you money on installation cost!
We are big fans of the Varta Pulse AC Battery. The Varta Pulse battery consist of;
lithium battery cells,
a battery management system (BMS) and
inverter/charger all in one compact unit.
Note: The Varta Pulse battery does not provide backup power. This means when the grid goes dowm you have no power.
Advantages
- Very economical battery system.
- Generally simple to install.
- Easy retrofit – can be added to homes with an existing solar installation
- Modular system which can be expanded.
Disadvantages
- Cannot function as a back-up supply
