Varta Pulse AC Batteries

Have you heard of an AC Battery? At Marshall Solar and Energy we love AC Coupled batteries. Why you ask? Well AC Coupled batteries a very quick and easy to install, this saves you money on installation cost!

We are big fans of the Varta Pulse AC Battery. The Varta Pulse battery consist of;

lithium battery cells,

a battery management system (BMS) and

inverter/charger all in one compact unit.

Note: The Varta Pulse battery does not provide backup power. This means when the grid goes dowm you have no power.

Advantages

Very economical battery system.
Generally simple to install.
Easy retrofit – can be added to homes with an existing solar installation
Modular system which can be expanded.

Disadvantages

Cannot function as a back-up supply
